Avard Civil were contracted by Kane / Nicholson JV in 2020 to transport and dispose of approximately 4,500 m3 of contaminated material including Category A, B & C contaminates.
The project involved placement of a layer of geofabric material & placement & of quarry material over the contaminated area. Due to the restrictive site area, many separate areas of the site needed to be excavated, stockpiled & disposed of prior to commencing works in the next section. A building was then constructed in the area.
