General Manager - Norm Sheahan
Norm has over 25 years of management and leadership experience over a variety of industries in the region. Norm’s role includes overseeing all aspects of Human Resources, communication and business management.
Being Bendigo born and bred he has a strong sense of community and family, this is key to supporting and sustaining the Avard values, and providing our stakeholders their desired objectives and overall client satisfaction.
Chief Financial Officer - Shane Gladman
As a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), Shane places a strong emphasis on ensuring the Company maintains a secure financial position. Since 2014 Shane has taken the lead in Avard’s financial arrangements providing invaluable input into the strategic planning and future direction of the company and highlights critical strategic issues to the Executive Management Team.
His strengths in financial planning, risk management and taxation accounting makes him a vital contributor to Avard’s ongoing success.
Senior Estimator - Michael Haigh
Michael joined Avard Civil in 2011. He has successfully transitioned from Contracts Administration and Project Management to his present position as Senior Estimator. In this time Michael has built a strong relationship with Clients, Consultants and Sub Contractors.
With a firm focus on Occupational Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental administration he has been a strong advocate in the implementation of our Integrated management System. His progressive approach to his role and leadership of his team allows for the continuing development of cost-effective ways to complete and deliver competitive projects.
Project Manager / Quality Assurance Manager - Jane Hendy (CA)
Jane has been with Avard since 2012 and has proven highly competent in performing roles in all aspects of the company. Jane utilises her background in finance with her knowledge of construction to ensure projects are completed on budget and in accordance with the contract.
Jane’s extensive liaison with clients, consultants and sub-contractors are principle to her role. Her focus on ensuring timely delivery, an emphasis on quality and attention to detail has made her an integral part of Avard Civil.
Project Manager - Koby Tanner
Koby joined Avard Civil after many years as a Project Manager in the Construction Industry. Koby has a wide range of experience in managing multi-million dollar projects both here in Australia and Overseas.
Koby places strong value in delivering projects to a high quality and within budget by effectively organising, managing and utilising all resources. His ability to form excellent working relationships with Clients, Sub Contractors and Workers makes him an important and successful part of the Avard team.

Julie has a wealth of experience working in the construction, financial and mining sectors. Her passion and dedication to OH&S, environmental and quality processes & procedures, gives our clients the confidence their projects are in safe hands.
