PROJECT ENGINEER 

Avard Civil is an agile & dynamic civil construction company delivering a variety of civil and mining projects from major bulk earthworks to detailed construction and engineering projects throughout Central Victoria.

 

We are seeking a Project Engineer to work on a variety of Civil Infrastructure projects in Central Victoria to join our team who will be able to lead and provide technical support to the project team, delivering projects within the stated timeframes and budgets, whilst meeting our clients expectations.

Salary Package: $110,000 - $150,000 P/A ( inc Super, Company Vehicle & Computer) + additional benefits & training opportunities.

 

The Role:

 

  • Supporting project delivery teams from planning to project completion

  • Ensuring project implementation according to plans, designs and specifications

  • Ensuring projects are completed timely and cost effectively following Industry standards and relevant specifications

  • Liaising with clients and coordinating trades onsite

  • Ensuring Avard and subcontractor staff implement and maintain safe methods of work

  • Building and fostering exceptional relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Support project delivery within approved budget and control project expenditures

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards of the customers and the company are followed

  • Manage procurement and purchases of goods and services

 

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Engineering experience on Civil & Infrastructure construction projects (min 4 years)

  • Strong technical knowledge, analytical skills and expertise within the civil / infrastructure industry

  • Construction White Card and Current driver’s license

  • Competency in Project Management software

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail

  • Sound knowledge of industry practices and standards

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
