We have a full time Qualified Welder/ Fabricator position available.

This role requires a self-motivated, responsible person with excellent trade qualities & communication skills who is able to work unsupervised and as a part of a team, reporting direct to the Workshop Manager.

​

Duties will include:

​

• Perform welding duties using TIG and MIG welder.

• Weld Mild Steel, Stainless and Aluminium.

• Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products.

• Use of hand power tools, grinders, oxy set, and other hand tools related to the job needs.

• All associated repairs or maintenance work required for plant & equipment

• Random Project related tasks – Cages, Guard rails or steelwork prep for concreting.

• Compliant with WH&S regulations and procedures.

 

Skills Required:

​

• Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field.

• Boilermaker / Welder Trade Qualifications

• Familiarity with metalworking tools and machinery.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

•  3 years + experience in metal fabrication/welding

• Proficiency with metal fabrication tools.
