Administration Officer

We are searching for an Administration Officer with experience in multiple areas of Administration and Office Co-ordination.
As Administration Officer, you will be situated in our beautiful purpose-built administration base in the East Bendigo.
Our business has been based on developing and maintaining strong client relationships coupled with a fantastic team culture. We offer a dynamic and supportive environment for our team.
Your days will be busy with a range of responsibilities, but most importantly you will be the first point of contact for our clients. Working hours and conditions can be flexible and will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Ideally, we are looking for someone in a full-time role working Monday to Friday, however the hours are flexible (30-38 hours per week).
Key requirements/skills:

Experience in administration having worked in an office environment for a minimum of 3 years.

Intermediate/advanced Office 365
-
Extremely well organised & focused with the ability to prioritise to complete tasks.

Good communication both written and verbal

Good administration skills
-
Willing to learn and progress. Courses offered to continue upskilling

Experienced computer skills including internet and Microsoft Office
-
Proficient in Excel & Data Spreadsheets

Tasks & Responsibilities:

All associated front of house duties
-
Office organisation, filing and administration
-
H/R administration assistance
-
Direct assistance for management
-
Liaising with suppliers, contractors and fellow staff members
-
Maintain and update registers
-
Work collaboratively with the Estimating, Project, Workshop & Finance departments

Manage and update project documentation files and records in an organised and accessible manner
-
Email management & Monitoring
-
Drafting internal and external correspondence
-
Ad hoc daily tasks such as data entry

Preferred Qualities:
-
Demonstrated accounts payable and receivable experience
-
Experienced in accounting packages & payroll processing (XERO)

The ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment

Good organisational and planning skills

Ability to keep on top of multiple tasks

Competent follow up skills
-
Strong aptitude on Microsoft applications
