We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Civil Plant Operator to join our team.

 

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of civil construction plant and equipment.

• Carry out bulk earthworks, site preparation, excavation, drainage and service install and final trim works.

• Read and interpret plans, levels and site instructions.

• Complete daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance of plant and equipment.

• Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to achieve project deadlines.

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures and quality assurance requirements.

• Maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience necessary

• Demonstrated experience operating one or more of the following:

  • Excavators

  • Dozers

  • Graders

  • Loaders

  • Rollers

  • Skid Steers

• Strong understanding of safe operating procedures.

• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

• Excellent communication and time management skills.

• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Desirable

• Construction White Card.

• HR, HC or MC Driver's Licence.

• Relevant plant operator tickets
