CONCRETERS

Avard Civil is seeking skilled and competent concreters to complement our concrete crew.

Preferably this role is a full-time role, however a permanent part time position would be considered for the right applicant.

Key criteria:

• Experience in commercial construction

• Screed and finish concrete to a quality standard

• Experience with erecting modular form work and stick built forms

• Experience in building cast insitu retaining walls, columns, suspended slabs and stairs

• Work as a team and take instructions when given

• Read and interpret construction plans and steel schedules

• Formwork setup

• MR truck licence (desired, not essential)

• Based in Bendigo or surrounding area

• Must have Construction Induction Card (White Card ), Drivers Licence.

• Experience in KERB construction preferred (not essential). Additional Salary opportunities for Kerb expertise.

• Must have Experience (2+ years Preferred) and being able to proficiently use all hand/power tools to box up and hand screed to a high standard essential for this role.

Working under the supervision of our concrete works leading hand, the successful applicant will work in a great team environment, with the opportunity to develop experience across a wide variety of projects.

Predominantly work is Monday to Friday (optional weekend work if required)
